Unidentified network vista cozmt

Feb 20, 2012 · Basic Problem: Unidentified Network on both wired and wireless sides. When I first fired this up, it boots and comes to the desktop, so it does do "something". But there's no connectivity to anywhere because of the now famous favorite: Unidentified Network. Here's a list of the things I've tried to remedy this.
