The BlackBerry Enterprise Server integrates with existing infrastructure to provide smartphone users with mobile access to their network, email and other resources. The gateway IP address is part of the Wi-Fi profile for the network that users access on their BlackBerrys. The gateway IP address directs the device to the server that will provide the BlackBerry with DNS information for the Wi-Fi connection. You can edit the Wi-Fi profile of the network connection on the device to change the gateway address.
